White Village Greek Tavern
A very rustic and homey Greek restaurant that provides live music on Wednesdays as you enjoy your meal. Food is decent, but nothing too extraordinary. Wouldn’t come back after trying it once.
Homemade dips that had great flavour and perfect for dipping. 7.5/10
Rice filled dolmades. A bit too salty for my likes. 3/10
Freshly baked warm bread that had a nice and crispy crust.
Just salty fried cheese. Don’t really have much of an opinion on this one. 5/10
Dressing was a bit too salty, but salad itself was very refreshing. 6/10
Cooked well. Calamari was soft and tender with good flavour. 7.5/10
Chicken was the best. Flavoursome and juicy. The beef patties were surprisingly soft and fell apart. Lamb was not that great. 7.5/10
Baklava was super sweet – great for having with the super bitter coffee. Turkish delight was sickly sweet. Halva was pleasant but very dry. 5/10
Powdery and bitter. The way usual greek coffee is. Not a fan. 4/10
