Gorilla grill is a burger joint on the West Side with an asian twist. Came here to try the ribs (by recommendation), but as it turns out, the burgers are better than the ribs. If you’re in the area give it a go, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way.
Good burger with a soft brioche bun. Generous portion of crispy fried chicken. Would’ve liked a bit more sauce. 7/10
The Kim-Cheese Fries were good, but also needs more sauce. Liked how they had actual bits of kimchi sprinkled onto the chips. Gave it a good flavour hit. 7/10
Ribs were served at room temp, which is fine by me, most rib places do that. Plenty of meat on the bone. Too many fatty/skin/tendon bits and pieces. Average sauce. Not as good value as originally pitched, which was under $30. 4/10
A basic, but well done burger. Soft brioche bun with a juicy patty and sufficient sauce. Nothing outstanding but a good burger. 7.8/10
