Naked for Satan
285 Brunswick Street
Naked for Satan is a vodka speciality bar in Fitzroy that has also offers a range of Latin American dishes. As soon as we entered on a Saturday night there was a definite vibe of excitement. With its dimly lit atmosphere and hip décor, and the place itself seems like the cool place to be.
The downstairs is made up of an extensive bar area with a couple of seating options for those that just want to chill with a drink and maybe some pintxos. These bite-sized finger food pieces are perfect to pair with a drink.
For dining options with table service, you have to venture upstairs. Upstairs is made up of the bar and restaurant.
The roof top bar is another cool place for those who just want to order at the bar and relax around.
The restaurant is just next to it and the place to sit and order some actual food. Very lively atmosphere and great cocktails, but food is probably not worth coming back again for.
Amazing Cocktail. Just the right amount of sweetness and super refreshing. Loved it and would recommend! 8.7/10
Refreshing and easy to drink. Not overly sweet like other ciders. 8/10
Generous portions of bread that was soft in the centre and crunchy at the crusts. 7.5/10
The casing of the empanadas were super light and crusty but the filling was a let down. Would’ve like a bigger portion side and more flavour. 6.5/10
Awesome croquettes with a perfectly crispy exterior and soft gooey filling. A great hit of walnut flavour. Would recommend. 8/10
Croquettes themselves were amazingly light and crispy, but I didn’t like the flavour of the filling. 6/10
First time having a mushroom style pate. Designed to spread on the ciabatta and have with the little bits of condiments around. Flavour was average but fun to pick and try the unusual condiments. 6.5/10
Best dish of the night! Perfecly chargrilled beef that was tender and easy to eat. Lots of flavour and delicious! 9/10
