The Escort and Thief dined courtesy of Italian Chef
Coming to visit Italian Chef is like walking straight into a little piece of Italy. From the boisterous greeting and smiles on their faces, we knew instantly that we were in for a good time.
Their fully stocked bar offers an array of drinks and cocktails, even offering some Italian specialties. The food menu is also expansive with options of pizza, pasta or alternative mains. The food is delicious and the desserts are worth coming for.
Gotta try their millefeuille! Its amazing!
Beautiful and refreshing drink! Light and fruity. 7.5/10
Easy to drink Italian beer
Deliciously creamy with generous amounts of eggplant. Great flavour, just wish there was more of it! 7.5/10
This may be the best dish of the night. Just perfect. The pastry had just the right amount of crisp and chewiness. Flavours were predominately tomatoey and cheesy. Would recommend! 9/10
The salmon was cooked perfectly. The outside was cooked while the centre was still slightly rare. Loved it! The snapper was average. Beautiful dish though. 7.5/10
Never tried pork belly with a such a sweet berry sauce, but it went together surprisingly well! Very inventive and delicious. 7.5/10
Another highlight of the day. Perhaps the best millefeuille I’ve had in Melbourne. Creamy and thich with just the right amount of sweetness. The pastry was flaky and light. Would recommend. 9.5/10
Served in a cute and convenient cup. Very creamy and just the right amount of coffee and liqueur flavour. 7.5/10
Coffees were a bit bitter but balanced well with the sweet desserts. 6/10
