Richmond

Cuppa Tea is cute little cafe on Bridge Road that definitely has a homey feel. The patchwork chairs are super comfy and add a great splash of colour to the whole cafe. Menu is a bit limited on the brunch options, but their drink options are extensive. Food is simple and drinks are good.

Lychee Milkshake $5

Never tried lychee flavoured milkshake before, but this was great. Sweet and refreshing with a strong lychee flavour. 8/10

Matcha Green Tea Latte (small) $4.20

Pleasant with a good amount of sweetness. 7/10

Cuppas Benedict $16.90 with Hash Brown, Poached Eggs, Buttered Mushrooms, Wilted Baby Spinach with Creamy Hollandaise Sauce

Eggs were poached well with runny yolks. The mushrooms were my favourite part, full of juicy buttery flavour. Hollandaise was good. 7.5/10

Fritters $17.90 with Zucchini, Mint and Pea Fritters, Buckwheat Bread with Poached Egg, Homemade Dill Cream and Fresh Truss Tomato Salsa

The fritters weren’t like any I’ve had before. It was so green and you could really taste the zucchini in it. It was soft and mushy, not crispy at all, but I didn’t mind. A bit light in flavour, but went well with the Dill Cream. 6/10
